I am Nathalie a French expat living in the Netherlands. I turned 45  years old this year. I am a curious and introvert person who love pets. I am  a mother who love to cook for her family, and a plant mum. I have graduated in applied arts and BTEC Higher National Diploma in interior architecture, I am a watercolor artist, and I am so much more...

I learned drawing and painting when I was in secondary school. My passion for watercolor painting started at that time with inks.  For a long time, I used to paint for myself. Then later I wanted to do something with that knowledge.

It is with this idea to share, that I was able to animate as a volunteer in the hospital for children in Montpellier (France) painting workshops. It was an immense pleasure to share my knowledge, with patience I showed, helped, explained the immense possibilities that are available with some colors.

After this experience I worked for a long period in a French administration, it was a great experience as well. But slowly I missed my passion and I came back to it.

Finally, I arrived in the Netherlands I decided to create my own artistic world. It is surrounded by an international environment that I developed my creativity. I started to paint for myself, and quickly I decided to animate a watercolor workshop in the HUB, local expat center.

Je suis Nathalie une expatriée française vivant aux Pays-Bas. J’ai eu 45 ans cette année. Je suis une personne curieuse et introvertie qui aime les animaux de compagnie. Je suis une mère qui aime cuisiner pour sa famille, et jardiner. Je suis diplômé en arts appliqués et architecture d’intérieur, je suis un artiste aquarelliste, et tellement plus encore...

J’ai appris le dessin et la peinture au lycée. Ma passion pour la peinture à l’aquarelle a commencé à cette époque avec les encres.  Pendant longtemps, je peignais pour moi-même. Plus tard, j’ai voulu faire quelque chose avec cette connaissance.

C’est avec cette idée de partager, que j’ai pu animer en tant que bénévole à l’hôpital pour enfants de Montpellier (France) des ateliers de peinture. Ce fut un immense plaisir de partager mes connaissances, avec patience j’ai montré, aidé, expliqué les immenses possibilités qui sont disponibles avec quelques couleurs.

Après cette expérience, j’ai travaillé pendant une longue période dans une administration française, ce fut aussi une grande expérience. Mais ma passion me manquait et j'y suis finalement revenue.

Enfin, c’est en arrivant aux Pays-Bas que j’ai décidé de créer mon propre monde artistique. Entourée par un environnement international que j’y ai développé ma créativité. J’ai commencé à peindre pour moi-même, et rapidement j’ai décidé d’animer un atelier d’aquarelle dans le HUB, centre local des expatriés.
